Bookings for the FantasyCon 2011 banquet
have now closed.
The grand finale of FantasyCon 2011 is the banquet, after which the British Fantasy Society will hold the annual British Fantasy Society Awards ceremony, and will be held in the hotel's Regency Lounge at 1pm on Sunday 2nd October 2011. The room will be opened to those wishing to watch the Awards ceremony after the banquet.
The menu consists of three courses followed by coffee and mints, and half a bottle of wine per person. The cost for this is £35.

Starter
Fan of seasonal melon served with a mixed berry compote

Cream of tomato and roasted red pepper soup
lightly seasoned with garlic and basil.
Main course*
Paupiette of Plaice filled with Salmon and Prawn Mousseline
And finished with a fennel Sauce
or
Prime Roasted Sirloin of Beef
Served with a rich Red Wine & Button Onion and Thyme sauce
And a Traditional Yorkshire pudding
or the vegetarian option
Roasted vegetables and beans chilli cooked in a spicy tomato sauce, served with a timbale of braised rice and fresh chopped coriander.
